Today, a colorful function was organized for our annual college week in the auditorium of our school. The ceremony started/began at 9 am. With the bargeet of great man Shankardev. The Honorable Principal of our school presided/inaugurated the function. Many joyful/pleasant/colorful programs were participated by all the students of our school. First, a famous play ‘Save the Largest River Island’ was performed. After that Bhupendra Sangeet, Bihu Geet and modern songs were sung by some students.A wonderful recitation of ‘Sagar Dekhisa’ by Debkant Barua was also performed. Some other students also participated in the modern and classical dance programme. Other events like art, debate competition, sports writing competition etc. were also added to the celebrations. The Principal/Headmaster delivered his presidential address after the performance of several extra-curricular programmes. He encouraged the students and advised them to be bright/shining/shining in every field of study, dance, song, sports, craft etc.After that, the General Secretary also thanked all the students for their cooperation in the program. Nowadays the number of thefts in platforms and trains is increasing. Today also there was an incident of thieves in Dibrugarh Kamakhya Express at Dimapur. Then the passengers started searching their luggage and luckily some other passengers suspected the thieves and caught them red-handed (hat-looted). Students of X High School organized a flood relief camp to help the flood affected people in Nalbari area. The general secretary used to lead this organization and the headmaster of the school also supported him. More than thirty students were involved and collected medicines, money, clothes, food items and many other essential things from wealthy merchants and some other voluntary organizations.All the members of the camp went to the flood affected area at 1 pm and served with medicines, food and other things. August 15 is celebrated as Independence Day all over India. Like other places, today the felicitation program was organized in the auditorium of X High School of High School. Guwahati, 12 Dec. 2024: Last evening, at around 6:30 PM, a horrific train accident occurred near Guwahati Railway Station. The Delhi-Guwahati Express derailed after colliding with a goods train due to a brake failure. The collision resulted in a massive explosion, spreading panic among passengers and onlookers.

Rescue teams, including fire brigades, police, and medical personnel, rushed to the scene immediately. Five fire tenders worked tirelessly to control the flames. Meanwhile, injured passengers were swiftly taken to GMCH by ambulances and private vehicles. Tragically, 25 passengers lost their lives, and over 150 were reported injured.
