Special Incentive to ST (P) Meritorious Students of Assam – Apply Now for 2025-26

The Government of Assam, Directorate of Tribal Affairs (Plain), has announced the Special Incentive to ST (P) Meritorious Students scheme for the academic year 2025-26. This initiative aims to provide financial assistance to bright students belonging to the Scheduled Tribes (Plain) community of Assam.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this scheme, students must:

  • Belong to the ST (Plain) community of Assam.
  • Secure the following minimum marks in their examinations during the year 2025-26:
    • 80% or above in HSLC
    • 75% or above in Higher Secondary (HS, 10+2)
    • 70% or above in Graduation
    • 65% or above in Post Graduation

  • Application Start Date: 25th September, 2025 (Thursday)
  • Application Last Date: 31st October, 2025 (Friday)

  1. Aadhaar Card
  2. Digital Caste Certificate
  3. Marksheet of recently declared examination (duly countersigned by HoD)
