The Government of Assam, Directorate of Tribal Affairs (Plain), has announced the Special Incentive to ST (P) Meritorious Students scheme for the academic year 2025-26. This initiative aims to provide financial assistance to bright students belonging to the Scheduled Tribes (Plain) community of Assam.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this scheme, students must:
- Belong to the ST (Plain) community of Assam.
- Secure the following minimum marks in their examinations during the year 2025-26:
- 80% or above in HSLC
- 75% or above in Higher Secondary (HS, 10+2)
- 70% or above in Graduation
- 65% or above in Post Graduation
